“Earth Lights” is a short film, narrated through puppetry and an original music score, following the journey of three children battling cancer. It will be realised for audiences aged 5-8 and is based on the personal stories of three young women, who battled childhood cancer and have successfully recovered with the help of Gift of Life Children’s Cancer Charity. With the support of a professional playwright they shaped their stories into a single script, reflecting a variety of lived experiences of the illness. The performance explores themes of children’s health and the inner strength of young patients undergoing treatment. We are currently fundraising for the realisation of this project.

LIGHTS

For audiencess

This performance offers an accessible way to engage with the realities of childhood cancer, a subject often difficult to approach. Through inventive storytelling, it helps audiences understand illness, treatment, and the importance of support in a way that is honest and reassuring. For hospitals, the production provides a thoughtful way to engage young patients.
