In/Scripted Theatre
A resource for theatre makers and health communities to form deep collaborations
and create new work.

ABOUT US

Making theatre work in health contexts involves an attentive approach to interpersonal relationships, built on care and respect for the difference and singularity of each Author and Facilitator. In order to make this process accsessible, we developed a theatre-making method that holds space for the authority that each collaborator needs to do their part in making this work.

This website provides a facilitation guide and printable graphic tools that invite restructuring, filling in and personalising in a way that asks each Facilitator and Author to trust each other with narrating the performance.

OUR MISSION

Through this theatre-making method, we aim to enable the creation of work that speaks about health beyond clinical terms. Working with it allows collaborators to safely deepen their understanding of taboos and the nuances of self-perception around health, while also addressing the external forces that shape and often negatively impact it.

As a result, we begin to discover what audiences can learn from the ways we, as individuals, process these experiences and make recovery a shared process.
